The Looff Carousel is one of the most popular attractions at Riverfront Park. It was built in 1909 and is one of the best preserved hard-carved carousels in the United States. Originally located in Natatorium Park, the carousel was converted into a public park in the 1970s. The carousel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The carousel has a gift shop and restrooms. Riders can also take a ride on the Garbage Goat, a 145-foot steel-and-wire cable tensile structure. It was designed for Expo ’74. The Numerica SkyRide is another popular attraction at Riverfront Park. This 145-foot, high-speed cable ride reaches a height of 200 feet and is a great way to take in the sights of Spokane Falls.
